Philippe SELLAM et Gilles RENNE 
ont réalisé ensemble de nombreux projets musicaux en France et à l’étranger, «AFRICAN PROJECT», une fusion de la musique traditionnelle africaine avec le jazz et leur quartet « NO SPIRIT », composé des meilleurs musiciens de la scène parisienne, un quartet de toutes les audaces. 

 

Philippe SELLAM and Gilles RENNE have created together many projects in France and in other countries. They have so far released seven albums in their name.

 

Today their newest quartet “NO SPIRIT”, which is composed by the best Parisian stage musicians, is mixing the jazz with groove by using soft harmonies and melodies supported by intoxicated sounds of organ which allows every member of the group to be inspired in their crazy improvisations.

The band plays only originals, their incisive and tonic compositions are heading directly to the target, without any other forms of process, without any state of spirit. “No spirit” at all!
